Payroll Partnership with Stockton-on-Tees Borough council

Our Community Development Officer, Annie Murphy, regularly attends staff events to promote the benefits of joining the Payroll Partnership we have in place with their employer.

During Talk Money Week in November Annie provided money and savings advice to 48 employees of  Stockton on Tees Borough Council during her pop up event in the Riverview café. The majority of advice was around the payroll savings scheme.

She spoke to three people who were already members of the payroll savings and they had this to say:

“I have been a member for 5 years, saving helps me with holidays and Christmas. The money leaves my wage into my savings before I’ve even seen it”

“It’s a little buffer I have for myself. I can draw on it when I need it”.

“I put £50 away every month, I don’t even notice it out of my wage. I save it for Christmas”.

money, we may be able to help.
